This Gotz Modell Doll measures 18 inches in height, has red hair, brown eyes, and two teeth. Her only identification is the Gotz Modell gold-toned pin which is attached to the front of her dress - and - her appearance, of course.
She has beautiful brown eyes, which open and close, and which function perfectly. She has long eyelashes which are all there and in perfect order. She has an open-closed mouth which shows her two little lower teeth. Her lips are a delicate pink and there is a light blush on her cheeks.
Her red hair is rooted, with no missing plugs. She wears it in bangs on her forehead and the rest is combed back and down and is curly on the ends. She wears her original white ribbon around her head. Her hair is very soft and clean and easily managed. It is very thick.
Her clothing is completely original, including her hair ribbon. The dress is white, with a delicate pink scalloped edging around the fully gathered collar. The dress is gathered onto the bodice, with long sleeves, and the lower part of the dress and the sleeves are totally eyelet. There is elastic in the wrist of the sleeves and a delicate pink ribbon bow on each sleeve. The slip, which is attached to the dress, is a sheer fabric, trimmed with gathered eyelet. Her knee-length bloomers have an elastic waist, elastic around the legs and are trimmed with pink ribbons and a narrow edge of pink scalloped trim at the bottom. She wears her original shoes, but has no socks. She was sockless when she came to me and I have not changed her.
This is not a new doll, but is definitely in like-new condition. She is absolutely clean, which means that, since she has been hanging around for awhile in someone's closet, her clothing has been carefully laundered. Her cloth body has not been touched since it has always been totally covered, thus is in perfect condition. Her red hair has been gently combed, but the style has not been changed.
This Gotz Modell Doll, with the red hair and brown eyes, would make a great addition to your doll collection - or - for that matter, would make a great gift to a doll collector. I do not believe this company is making dolls at this time.
